VISA REQUIREMENTS
- A valid travel document (minimum six month validity): passport or other travel document.
- Two (2) visa application forms duly filled per each applicant. (Download Visa Application Forms here)
- Evidence of travelling arrangements (booking or ticket copy).
- Two recent coloured passport-size photos (please staple the photos on the forms).
- A copy of a yellow fever vaccine certificate.
- For official business, a letter from the Government/Company.
- For visitors, an invitation letter by family members or friends.
- For tourists, Proof of hotel reservation(s).
- A prepaid, self-addressed, stamped, express-return envelope OR bring in the above to the Embassy during office hours.
N.B: Any person travelling to Burundi must obtain an entry visa at the Embassy of the Republic of Burundi in London prior to travelling.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
£60 (Sixty GBP): For a Single / Multiple entry visa valid for 30 days.
NB: Visa fees are payable only in Money Orders, Cashier’s Check or by bank transfer.

VISA APPLICATION SUBMISSION
Visa applications can be submitted on behalf of other applicant(s). After filling the visa application form and adding all required documents, it is possible to:
- Bring them to the Burundi Embassy during open / business hours.
- Send the application by mail, in a stamped and registered envelope.
If submitting by mail, send the application in a stamped and registered envelope (special delivery) to:

NB: All applicants must provide an active e-mail address and phone number to facilitate easy communication.
VISA EXEMPTIONS
Countries listed below are exempted from visa application:
- Democratic Republic of Congo
- Kenya
- Rwanda
- Uganda
- Tanzania
However, nationals from countries exempted from visa application need to have a valid passport issued by their respective countries.
LEGALISATION OF DOCUMENTS
For any documents to be legalised, these are the requirements:
- The documents are required to have a signature and seal from a Notary.
- Please provide a copy of your passport, ID or other UK Legal identification document.
- Payment of £20 Money Order.
